What FORESHOCK is — and is not
FORESHOCK is an early-warning risk indicator: a transparent causal model, updated by an AI analyst reading public sources, that publishes probabilistic assessments of geopolitical instability. It is not a prediction machine. It does not and cannot foretell events. Probabilities carry real uncertainty, parts of the model were built in hindsight on a small number of historical cases, and our forecast track record — including misses — is published on the site precisely so you can judge its reliability for yourself.
Not advice
Nothing on this site is investment advice, financial advice, legal advice, security advice, travel advice, or policy advice. Do not make financial decisions, safety decisions, or any other consequential decisions on the basis of this site. If you need advice, engage a qualified professional who can consider your situation.
No warranty
The site and its data are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Assessments may be wrong, late, or based on sources that later prove false. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Fair use of the data
You're welcome to read, cite, screenshot, and discuss what you see here, with attribution to FORESHOCK. Automated scraping at disruptive volume, or republishing the feed wholesale as your own product, is not permitted. If you want API access or redistribution rights, ask — that's a conversation we'd like to have.
The AI analyst
Indicator assessments and news screening are produced by a large language model working under fixed rubrics, change caps, and corroboration rules, with its reasoning logged verbatim on the site. AI-written analysis can be wrong in ways human analysis is wrong, and in ways of its own. The audit trail exists so you never have to take a number on faith.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on the site. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL — replace before launch].
